Well, it finally happened! After 9 years of Unity dominance, Godot was the most used game engine for GMTK Game Jam 2026 submissions. ๐Ÿค– Godot - 47% ๐ŸŽฎ Unity - 34% ๐Ÿ› ๏ธGameMaker - 5% ๐Ÿš€ Unreal Engine - 3% โœจ Other - 11%

I had the house to myself today, so I finally made a new version of the HUD using GAS. I am VERY pleased. It's worlds cheaper to render than prior. Mostly by experience, but also by making heavy use of material animation instead of widget animation. The cache remains valid. #CherubDev #UE5
