As a Black man who lives in Ukraine, I found it prudent that I write my own eulogy for Lindsey Graham. He loved Ukraine more than he loved Black folks. He defended Ukraine’s democracy, but undermined ours at home because his racism was just that bad.

“We can’t let people who destroy the army rule it.” Marianna told me during the most recent protest over ex-defense minister Mykhailo Fedorov’s firing. Protesters will resume demonstrations at 20:00 tonight because Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has yet to reinstate Fedorov.
