The Trump administration has repeatedly gone to court this week seeking to revive its sweeping mail ballot restrictions before the midterms. But it still has not directly denied some of the most alarming allegations about how the USPS plans to enforce them. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
Trump administration still hasn’t denied USPS whistleblower’s claims

HAPPENING NOW: Citing Trump's commentary, a judge in D.C. seems inclined to bar DOJ from seeking new charges against David Hearn for reflecting pool damage. Hearing still ongoing but judge concerned about Trump's obvious pressure campaign to re-charge Hearn.

I think trade policy should be set by someone who has literally any understanding of how trade works, like any understanding at all
Trump says the US would “save” $90 billion by cutting off trade with Canada 🥴
1. Cheaper input costs (no US tariffs) 2. Better access to foreign markets (thanks to Canada's FTAs & retaliation against US exports) 3. No consumer boycotts
We need to figure things out but one of the major benefits of canada is that its like all of the US strengths but more stable and probably with freer trade
Whether to move obviously depends on the details of the business. But the incentive is in how Canada differs from the US and certainly puts the exclamation point on the rejection of the US request to let them dictate our tariffs with other countries.
Trump’s tariffs forced this U.S. company’s move to Canada. And it’s not the only one Canada has become a better place to do business for some U.S. companies that sell globally, thanks to tariff-free access to major overseas markets www.thestar.com/business/fac...
Trump’s tariffs forced this U.S. company’s move to Canada. And it’s not the only one
Faced with Trump tariffs, some U.S. manufacturers are moving production to Ontario and Quebec to cut costs by almost 30 per cent.
