The wake-up message this morning on Artemis II was from Jim Lovell, who recorded it before passing away in August of last year. Lovell looped the Moon twice in Apollo 8 (1968) and Apollo 13 (1970), truly a pioneer of spaceflight. We salute a real one. 🫡 “Earthrise” photo from Apollo 8.
