Probably an odd take, but this Spiderman movie felt quite a bit like Love and Monsters (2020), in that it seemed to keep telling young people 'hey, I see you.'

The modern science of causal inference began with the landmark publication of Holland (1986), which showed that causal inference with observational data was possible in the linear regression model just so long as there is no correlation between the dependent variable and the residuals: r(Y,e) = 0

The Peloponnesian War sort of fits the narrative that a militarized autocracy (Sparta) defeats a ‘liberal’ democracy (Athens). The ‘how’ and the aftermath don’t seem to matter. All the more reasons to teach more world history in our schools.

There are some mitigating measures for this. Still not sufficient and time-consuming/extensive (mostly interactive & customized stuff). A more important question is, are faculty (ever) compensated for the ed content engineering type of work in addition to their traditional obligations?

woof ≈80% of assignments this summer term have essentially been just raw chatgpt/claude output, including assignments that required designing stuff in illustrator/affinity/canva. The battle is lost for asynchronous online courses.

I know Spurs are ahead. But their defense continues to be a problem, it seems. Young players struggle finding what to do when toughening things up doesn't work.

- Replace soy sauce with oyster sauce for more flavor (particularly if using frozen meat). - I am usually all for veggie varieties but a simple onion + green onion combo is better for this. Instead, veggies could be served as a salad on the side. - Pork belly also works, with less oil added.
