Markus aka The Chindividual@thechindividual.bsky.social · 2d agoD&D surely is the lingua franca of Actual Play, just like English is the linguistic lingua franca of Actual Plays. That doesn't mean you can't introduce people to new languages. Just like "actual" languages, the more TTRPGs you "speak", the more colorful your experience in the hobby will be.
This is a phenomenal book i feel grateful enough to have helped playtest!! If you are running any of those games, or games that feature adversarial monsters you should definitely check it out
