Horror, sharks, horror sharks, and Earl Grey tea. Chosen by Pickles the dog 🐾

Do you crave stories with explicit body horror? Do you enjoy tales that make you wince and squirm in gleeful discomfort? If so, this book is for you. It certainly was for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📚💙

I wasn't sure where to begin reading Sam Rebelein's books, so I consulted my friend Abby. She recommended starting here, and woooowwww are these stories creepy. So fun 💙📚 Thanks, @unstablebooks.bsky.social :)

The Poorly Made and Other Things by Sam Rebelein

I visited Boulder Bookstore on Saturday. Purchased three books. I am headed back again today. Will likely purchase several more. Can't stop, won't stop 💙📚

My new book is out in the US today! 🩷🌈🍦 It’s a campy, spicy mm murder mystery about a reformed vampire and his talking cat. It is deeply queer. It is about finding joy in your existence and celebrating your people (cats included).

After a happy but exhausting weekend with my family, I am now in a hotel bed at 7:30pm with an insanely creepy but excellent book and a cup of mint tea. Bliss ✨️

Hanging with family and they've introduced a game with approximately 250 rules. I struggle to keep up with those games. Here is what I've decided to do instead.

Tonight's movies are shark-themed. Under Paris (2024) Thrash (2026) Took a break between for a fun Problems with the Final Girl Trope panel discussion with some favorites. It's been a good night.

Currently re-thinking my clothes for the next trip. I will be visiting Boulder Bookstore, and I know I will need more space in my carry-on for books. It should be fine to wear the same clothes for four days, right? Right??

I'm home alone until Saturday. Seriously contemplating having a bottle of wine and a block of cheese for dinner. While reading books and watching Shark Week, of course. I am civilized, after all 💅

I have bookmail coming tomorrow, and I do not remember what I ordered. At all. Rather than looking for the receipt, I am going to surprise myself. Sometimes I enjoy being scatterbrained.

Someone filled my Little Free Library with older ARCs. I grabbed one for my son's friend who loves reading about history, and this one for myself. It gives a nod to The Only Good Indians, and I'm intrigued. #booksky
