I’m playing Uncharted 4 and really have to wonder why the guys are killing themselves looking for pirates treasure when Nate has literal immortality stones in his attic he can sell for billions of moneys.

I miss media cabinets with hifi stacks. You know, with ones with the custom segmented display which had basic animations to indicate their current operations. Segmented LCD displays really were the peak for tech aesthetics.

Watching older shows is funny because sometimes the major plot point is a government official having nazi ties or abusing their position for profit, and it’s all treated like a huge terrible scandal.

I went to change the numberplate on my car which would be a 5 minute job, except both plastic screws snapped at the head which turned into a 30 minute job of drilling out and re-tapping the screw holes and this is how I justify owning a million tools I'll use once a year.

In the past when people asked for advice about getting into the games industry, you could at least say its difficult but often worth it. Now however, its impossible but also just not worth it at all. You will just be tools to be cast aside for the wealthy at so many places.

After laying off Battlefield 6 devs, EA boss Andrew Wilson's bonus rose $8m to $38m last year, thanks to the game's success across "all milestones" www.eurogamer.net/ea-boss-38-m...

Small update with me finally getting to making the top counter by gluing 3 boards and using biscuit joints just to help a little and just trying to force them dry without curling up as much. Was going to make the top line up with the legs but I’m liking the overhang. #woodworking

The chest of draws build now with the top not attached but made of 3 boards. Once the 3 are dry I’ll plane and hopefully level it to be nice and even. Also starter to add the front trim on the ply shelves to try to make it just look bit more considered and elegant compared to the router table

Fair bit of work left with the cheats of draws build but I can see how it fits next to its sister build the router table. #woodworking

I’ve finally finished the fantasy door project, designed by the artist Alexandra Yakimova✨ Modelled in 3dsmax, sculpted in zbrush, textured in substance painter and rendered in unreal.

real art isn't in the cinema. it's not in books or libraries. it's definitely not in the TV. real art only exists on youtube channels with 3,000 followers where a guy who calls himself MicrowaveBen reviews tv dinners on a strange but internally consistent 7-point scale he calls the Flavornator

Ive regularly been of the stance that if you can afford something thats readily available, piracy isnt justified. With the exception of some particularly expensive software, I've held true to that since my early 20s. But then it turned out I didnt own most of what I bought anyway sooo....🏴‍☠️

The best thing about having a dog is that you learn to be comfortable going ti the loo with the bathroom door wide open. If you close the door, he’ll be kind enough to shove it open again.

Hey, that's a nice [THING YOU DO FOR PERSONAL PLEASURE], be a real shame if somebody were to [CONVINCE YOU TO MONETIZE IT, TRANSFORMING YOUR RELATIONSHIP INTO AN OBLIGATION AND ROBBING YOU OF JOY]
