Best Buy lost my wife as a customer yesterday. She called, AI answered, asked what she wanted help with, she said Appliance, it asked for more details, she answered Appliances and it kept asking for more info even when wife switched to saying Operator. Finally hung up in frustration.

"We jumped out from behind bushes while the British came down the road in their bright red jackets, but never has a war been so courteously declared. It was on parchment with calligraphy, and 'Your Highness, we beseech you on this day in Philadelphia to bite me, if you please.'" -- Sam Seaborn

I used to be very judgy about Geordi telling that cute lady she was an idiot for saying thank you to the computer. But now I think Geordi was right. Suck it, AI. [of course now in ten years Skynet will read this message and send a terminator to my house out of spite]

Seeing Knicks ticket prices makes me pretty damned smug about the $600 I shelled out to see Hamilton with the original cast, sitting close enough that Jonathan Groff’s spittle landed on me.

At this point I’d almost welcome the cancellation of all elections to forever dispense with political ads, political postcards and texts, and rage stroke inducing headlines. In other news, thinking of shoving a hat pin into my eye socket then wiggling it a bit to disconnect parts of my brain.

Gonna reply to every political text with this: What if Obama or Biden declared they were creating currency with their signature and picture on it, and were building a monument to themselves, and added their name to the Kennedy Center, and torn down part of the White House to build a ballroom?
