We are facing a tremendous amount of global instability right now. We are already very close to uncontrolled conflict in multiple countries. But in the background is a looming financial crash built on a bubble larger than anything the US economy has ever seen. That is a lethal combination.

I will never get back this part of the prime of my life. The trajectory of the rest of my life is forever altered by that worthless sack of shit. There are millions like me.

Trump has literally ruined a decade of American life.

No matter what I do on Facebook, it will relentlessly send me conservative propaganda. There is SOME argument to be made that it is to spur engagement via rage responses, but two things can be true at the time. It makes pushing conservative propaganda successful no matter the outcome.

Facebook is a swamp of bullshit and AI slop with a healthy dose of foreign backed fake accounts pushing misinformation. Not to mention ton the billionaire conservatives pushing propaganda to ensure conservatives win and the oligarchy can continue.

In a world where high school graduates don’t know what we are celebrating on the 4th of July, this asshole thinks everyone with a tattoo of a Nazi symbol knows it was a Nazi symbol. Nazis only co-opted thousands of symbols from hundreds of civilizations, so of course EVERYONE knows all of them 🙄.

The idea of our democracy is that the elected officials are IN SERVICE to the people, they are not the rulers of the people. What we have now is a ruling class and our government is filled with wealthy and well-connected people born to advantage and run through a pipeline to public office.

I don’t think people appreciate just how little impact there is from a retraction of a false story, a correction of misinformation, or a fact check of a statement. For the victims of propaganda, that first lie or manipulation is all they will see. It is all that matters. Trump et al. knows this.
