🍾🍾 🤣🤣 have you seen where Farage ranks❓ He’s much lower than Badenoch which isn’t down to her genius (as much as she’d arrogantly think it is) It’s because the £5 million he took so happily turned out to be his Achilles heel and lashing out at MSM who’ve been championing turned them against him..😃

A Cambridge professor is dead after facing extraordinary scrutiny over alleged PhD errors. The Times, Telegraph and Mail published 111 articles about Jason Arday. Edward Higgs asks what lay behind this campaign when other plagiarism cases attracted far less attention.

Jason Arday and the ‘new’ old racism

The tragic death of Jason Arday has sent shock waves worldwide, but there are grim and dark reasons why it is not surprising

The BBC is considering making its news and drama more appealing to a Reform audience. Anyway, here’s their report on today’s press conference by the Hateful Eight. No room for any coverage of the 72 LibDem MPs. Suggestions, please, for a Reform-friendly BBC drama.

A comprehensive safety review by the National Cancer Institute & other global health agencies found no causal relationship between the polio vaccine & cancer. Following the start of polio vaccines in the 1950s cases in the US dropped rapidly from tens of thousands down to near-zero by the 1960s.

This is a very dangerous lunatic. RFK Jr: “The polio vaccine "killed many, many more people" than polio ever did.”

There’s something deeply repellent about Reform’s vengeful and racist obsession to take money from the most vulnerable when they’re under multiple investigations for breaking rules, dodging tax and gorging on £millions for themselves. (And trashing our EU agreement is just so thick it hurts) iPaper

EU'would retaliate on welfare plan'
By Arj Singh
The EU could launch a trade war against the UK and would probably strip British expats of benefits in retaliation to Reform's plan to ban foreign nationals from nearly all welfare payments.
Nigel Farage was warned that Brussels was likely to react with fury to his party's plan to bar foreign nationals, including EU citizens with settled status, from claiming most benefits in Britain.
Under the terms of Brexit, the EU could also launch economic retaliation, for exampleby suspending parts of the trade deal between the two sides including putting up tariffs that would hit the economy. Anand Menon, the director of the think-tank UK in a Changing Europe told The i Paper: "The proposals would breach the terms of the withdrawal agreement and the EU will doubtless retaliate, whether that be by making life harder for Britons in the EU or by triggering retaliatory trade measures.
"Either way, it will impact severely on UK-EU relations."
Reform's Treasury spokesman, Robert Jenrick, insisted that the ban was necessary because
"forcing British workers to pay for the benefits of foreigners is not just economically illiterate but plain immoral".

Triggering a vanity by-election was a blatant attempt by Farage to dodge being held to account. Our ‘Clacton Clause’ would stop a stunt like this being pulled ever again. A sitting MP under investigation should never be able to weaponise a by-election escape scrutiny.

Since privatisation, water companies have extracted £85 billion net out of the system. Every penny they claim to have invested has come from your bills; they’ve also racked up a debt mountain of over £60 billion at your expense. Their actions now are indefensible. We need water in public hands.

Nigel Farage knows UK could save £billions by - closing every tax avoidance loophole - making everyone pay fair share via #TaxTheRich - public utility nationalisation - end billionaire war & climate profiteering - adequately funded fraud squad to recoup PPE etc £billions but instead chose

Well I for one am astonished that a party run by multimillionaires and funded by billionaires wants to slash welfare to the bone and force people on benefits to work for nothing ... so that they can cut taxes for the rich www.theguardian.com/politics/liv...
