So fun fact, these websites that are controlling what NSFW folks MIGHT do off-platform would not do anything about a person who was using their platform to continue stalking and harassing me, because a majority of his stalking had previously happened off-platform. Food for thought!

The TOS being so strict that they control you offsite is the problem; sites like Patreon and Kofi have offsite clauses too. The social criminalization of the suggestion that somewhere you might be doing nsfw is a problem. It's branding a person as obscene and we need consumers to stand up for us

Yes, this is 100% about censorship in general, and the current anti-sexual weirdness that’s going on. But a paragraph near the end of the article is especially telling… ASMR is primarily created by women. Women doing anything will always be perceived by some as inherently sexual (excerpt in comms)

I am TERRIFIED to call people and I call my reps. Even just a simple 'I need you to appeal the KOSA act/Online Safety act or I'm voting against you' is enough of a sentence. it gets them scared, it gets them to act. This isn't just about 'porn', even tame stuff is targeted now. You might be next.

I don’t (and won’t) talk about this much but. As a survivor of CSA, probably the worst thing I did for myself AND ‘the cause’ was participate in discourse about CSA. Comments aren’t activism. You don’t have to be chronically online to be helpful. In fact the two can be somewhat antithetical.

I stopped leaving reviews for Airbnbs two years ago because that prevents hosts from leaving you one in turn, and Airbnb owners are insane Leaving customers reviews in general is also insane IMO. Vastly misunderstands the power dynamic when the services are things like Airbnb or Uber

I know silicone molds are self-releasing but fun fact- if you’re using them with any material that cures or emits fumes you STILL need mold release or the lifespan of that silicone can shrink dramatically! Even a little watered down dish soap will protect your molds better than nothing.
