made a white vacformed plastic canopy on a planning model for the Baltic Exchange architect didn't like it, wanted it transparent instead. i explained the work involved given the model was needed in a meeting "just spray it with that clear stuff you use?" he meant varnish. expecting invisibility

Hive Mind! I am looking for a Deaf or Partially Deaf artist/graphic designer who signs (I'm not overly bothered whether that's BSL, ASL, or what) who might *potentially* be interested in doing some SFF book covers for pay. These are fact-finding enquiries for me at present, not immediate contract.

I need to take a moment to remind everyone that the vast majority of fiction editors are doing the best they can in very difficult times for little money with little time. If all those editors decide to step down, you know what? your work won’t get published. There won’t be anyone to publish it.

Social media can be a terrible, terrible place, but one of my favorite parts of it has to be all the cool art I see posted here! You are all incredibly talented! Scrolling through my feed and seeing fantastic illustrations and paintings and fantastical pieces, it's all so cool!

If you'll all excuse a brief moment of venting, I am so fucking burnt out on this thesis. The deadlines are creeping up and yet it never seems to be getting any closer to being done. Just longer.
