The Seattle Sounders' ownership group thinks that *not* signing players right now, amidst an historically awful run, is just smart business practice. they simply do not want to win soccer games. fine with mediocrity as long as the bank account numbers go up.

Since Sounders entered MLS, they have, to quote Arthur, "Pushed the League Forward". The entire organization was focused on building a winning culture top to bottom. And they lapped older MLS stalwarts because of it. Now, SSFC feels like the old guard they once bypassed, all to save ownership $$$.
