Suno - a company that trained on "essentially all music files of reasonable quality that are accessible on the open Internet", and argues it does not need to pay to do so - is now valued at $5.4 billion. They will pay for GPUs, and for engineers… 🧵 1/2

I’m finding that I’m spending a fair amount of my work hours explaining to non tech people that the website they just built with Kiro is a static html file that only they can see. They honestly believe they just built a dynamic reporting portal that the entire company can access. Whats a web server?

I thoroughly regret indoctrinating my children to the world of Tottenham Hotspur.. looks like they are in for another generation of absolute disappointment. 😟

"The Microsoft 365 Copilot app (formerly Office) lets you create, share, and collaborate all in one place with your favorite apps now including Copilot." - IF WE PUT COPILOT IN THE NAME, WE CAN JACK UP THOSE NUMBERS!

With Kalshi, Polymarket etc essentially being allowed to circumvent all normal regulations for sportsbetting.. when do we start seeing the effect in the numbers of BetMGM, Draftkings, Fanduel? Q3?

Trillions being thrown at AI to create the solution to a question that doesn't yet exist. It will make the 2000s tech bubble look mild.

Why does it feel like the world right now is participating in a giant AI experiment? of very little benefit to society but filling the pockets of a small few.

Look what they did to Notepad. Shut the fuck up. This is Notepad. You are not welcome here. Oh yeah "Let me use Copilot for Notepad". "I'm going to sign into my account for Notepad". What the fuck are you talking about. It's Notepad.

Windows Notepad, the native simple text editor, now has formatting options and a Copilot button.

Youtube adverts are wild these days. From chewing minerals to fix broken teeth, to accusing all over 40s at being inept when using AI... I wonder if there's any review process at all.

I've become obsessed with videos on the BBC Archive youtube channel.. and came across this one today of Mick Jagger in 1982 discussing if he can tour at least another 5 years?? 😂
