Joe Montemurro has named the Matildas squad for the upcoming matches against Germany and Haiti in Europe, with Courtney Newbon (pictured), Tori Tumeth, and Hana Lowry earning call-ups to the national team. Lowry was previously called-up in 2024, but suffered an ACL injury and had to withdraw.

Bianca Gittany will miss the upcoming ALW season with the news her and her husband Thomas are expecting their first child. Gittany said she is disappointed not to be playing this season. Sydney FC coach James Slaveski has said that she will remain involved with the squad throughout the season.

Following Bulls FC Academy's win on penalties in the #NPLWNSW Grand Final on the weekend, Macarthur FC has said they are still on track to compete in the A-League Women in the 2027/28 season, as first reported by Poletti after last years NPLW Grand Final, which was also won by Bulls FC.

At the end of the NPL Women's NSW season, it's Bulls FC Academy who have become back-to-back Champions in First Grade, defeating UNSW. In the U23's, the Western Sydney Wanderers lifted the trophy over the Illawarra Stingrays. Both teams were victorious in a penalty shootout. #NPLWNSW
