Brendan has produced a hugely detailed deep dive into the score of Independence Day and how it was written and I was very happy to be the person he asked a few months ago to go through it with a fine tooth comb. Lots of great memories ( and it’s quite long !) www.cinematicsound.net/chat-with-da...

The best advice I can give game devs is to give composers complete creative freedom over the musical direction of a game. When you have an outside perspective, especially from a professional of that medium, youre usually gonna get something thats even better than what you envisioned.

Okay, finally kicked my ass to get through this shit for once and for all! So here's all of the SFX from Fire 'N Ice in their intermediate form after being converted using the modified NSFImport version that had the hacked Sweep commands converted into Pitch commands instead. :3c

Guy Moon scores were full of personality and life to the shows I watched as a kid. He was a early composer for Billy and Mandy, was involved in a lot of Butch Hartman shows. My condolences to his friends and family, he will be missed. Thank you Guy Moon for doing music for my childhood shows.

RIP Guy Moon, the composer for several series, including Fairly OddParents (and the rest of Butch Hartman's work), 2 Stupid Dogs, Cow and Chicken, Ned's Declassified, Big Time Rush, Back in the Barnyard, and many more. He was 63 years old.
