I just donated to help SPIDER-MAN, who took on nazi scumbags trying to invade Minneapolis again. Arrested by our local cops (boooo) who were diligently defending their racist turd pals. Let’s help good ol’ Webhead with his defense! (PS I can vouch for the GoFundMe creator) gofund.me/6f36a1ac1

Rowling did not make a statement. She replied to a trans woman in the comments section on Twitter. Rowling did not say anything supportive, she basically said “you were so mentally ill that the only way to cure you was surgery and hormones.” She notably did not say the woman in question is a woman
Last up is my personal favorite of the batch, Dr Mid-Nite. I’m a sucker for a Mid-Nite figure & this one’s fun. Head sculpt is very on point here. More JSA!
Wildcat is my daughter’s favorit, mostly because cat. Also she thinks he’s silly. The belt is off, but necessary because of the re-use. I like the golden age style head, since most Ted figures go modern. Always love more JSA.

Has the hierarchy of Super Powers changed? No, it’s just Black Adam. He’s not actually that important. I’ve worn thin on the character in recent years, but it’s cool that Shazam has a foe, & he’s a good figure. My one nitpick is the gold instead of yellow, but it’s minor. Fantastic head sculpt.

Raven I think is the oddest figure here. She’s not bad, but she’s not in her original costume, so she doesn’t match everyone else. It’s not super far off, though, so I don’t hate it. Just one of those quirks that probably has some behind the scenes explanation I just don’t know.

Starfire was high on my list for this set. The modified WW body is decent & I really like the new head. In a perfect world she’d be a touch taller (crazy to say about a McF Super Powers) but I like her, & she goes great with Nightwing.

Batman Beyond’s a slightly odd character choice, but not totally out of place given the more modern choices earlier on. He generally translates well. Head is surprisingly animation accurate, but also too small for the neck. Have to wonder if there was a more animated body intended at some point

SCOUT TROOPER — IMPERIAL PATROL STAR WARS: POWER OF THE JEDI/SAGA (HASBRO) “Although lightly armored, Imperial scout troopers are essentially highly mobile stormtroopers. They patrol perimeters, perform reconnaissance missions, and scout enemy locations. They are equipped for high maneuverability and long periods without support.” Hasbro’s Power of the Jedi line, more than being its own standalone line, was more than anything about wrapping up loose ends before moving onto the next thing.

I had the two movie tie-in figures of two of the three figures I always buy from any given incarnation, but that’s been it. And, that decidedly leaves me without a review of the third guy, Orko, who as of yet doesn’t have a movie figure.

I’m significantly less worried about that these days. Why’s that? I’ve got so many new Super Powers to review, that’s why!
