Full match report to come tomorrow but thoughts from the 1-1 in short: Kids good, senior players largely liabilities, absolutely cannot be playing DCDR up top. Lovely goal from JJ 3.0. Defensively terrifying, comedy style efforts for their goal. This meme is going to get used a lot isn't it?

NEW: Celebration snub shows Leicester City fans aren’t content to live in the past “Most damningly, the deluge of digital marketing is in such contrast to the club’s inability to communicate regularly with supporters on the matters we care about.” ✍️ @davidbevan.bsky.social #LCFC

NEW: Blackburn Rovers 0 Leicester City 1 - Nope “Each of us had better things to do than write about how this lamentable Leicester City team won a meaningless match on the tenth anniversary of the club’s greatest achievement” #LCFC

Blackburn Rovers 0 Leicester City 1: Nope

Much too little, much too late. A Stephy Mavididi goal may have secured all three points at Ewood Park but it doesn’t seem like anything to write home about. So we’re not going to.

Sacking Amandine Miquel has increasingly revealed itself to be an absolutely ludicrous decision. A very good coach who is capable of getting the most out of very little resource. The calamity of this season lies in that decision.

It’s been a grim season, starting with the bizarre sacking of Miquel who had done a decent job last season with very limited resources (she managed to get the team to score goals). Unlike the men we’ve just lacked the quality to compete this year. And hard to find much reason for hope next season.
