The other week I had a booth at an expo in Melbourne called Gamespond, showed off David Get Keen in person! Might share some pics from the event. This here is footage I captured from the big screen, which rotated between footage from all the games at the event.

There's a design problem I wanna try tackle before the full version of David Get Keen releases: For a time, I changed the way using the homing attack affected the player's momentum. In all public releases using the attack drops the player's speed to 0, but I changed it so the player *gains* speed

imo, the thing preventing adoption of Linux isn't software compatibility or anti-cheat or anything like that. It's having to install an operating system. People don't like installing operating systems. I think for Linux to take off, it has to be easily available pre-installed in off the shelf PCs.

For context, that isn't a fake trailer its a STOLEN trailer. These scammers follow a template. They find a small indi game (released or not) steal the assets and video, edited it to remove logos & such. Then upload the videos unlisted on youtube on new or stolen accounts. bsky.app/profile/bmas...

For additional bump & to show, these hackers will use stolen video trailers from real games upload them to YouTube, often mark them unlisted & sometimes change the title & description to whatever new fake game they've made a site for. THEY will do ANYTHING to make you think the fake games are real!

Ah yea I wanted to thank all those folk who checked out my demo during SAGE, especially those who have been around since the early days. Honestly feels pretty weird and surreal seeing people enjoying this thing I've slapped together, especially after months of doubting and secondguessing.
