When I found out that professional artists literally just pull shit from Google and merge them together in photoshop and trace over them it blew my mind. When I found out that professional artists literally project their references onto the canvas and trace it blew my mind. Refs aren't cheating.

Use reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.

Yknow, I am skeptical about astrology, and then get proven wrong. Its a Venus retrograde and, in a sensory nightmare rage, just haphazardly buzzed off the overgrowth of my undercut touching my neck. I've no idea how it looks and I feel like a madman

Nic Cage is the biggest fucking nerd. He's level of nerd I aspire to be.

Probably the coolest thing he's done next to being a potential Bomberman fan

Friday. Screenland Armour. @nightmarejunkhead.bsky.social's FRIDAY NIGHT FRIGHTS is screening AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. A glorious film. A masterpiece. Love Naughton. Love Dunne. Love Agutter. Love Baker's work. All top notch So weird the film has no director. No director at all. None. Erased

Big ol' "fuck you" to the stupid bitch in the parking lot that pulled out of a spot right in the driveway, forcing me to slam on my breaks & throw my back out AGAIN. Second time in a two-week period. Add the ever-morphing head cold & surprise debt... is this a sign to just keep to myself?!

Not really up to date with MCU at all (sort of lost interest when everything became a part of another thing and not a whole in itself), but I am going to be dragged back into a corner of it now. Gdi, James Spader. (And would. Even with that beard, god help me).

Once I even called him...

I don't think we should be giving clicks to sites that consistently publish pieces from folks who either don't know horror or hate the genre instead of hiring any of us out here who know genre film and want to work, but are struggling due to the state of the industry.

I want to see Fright Night something fierce this evening, but I also want to sleep and not spread my germs anymore than capitalism forces me to do. Feeling absolutely run down rn.

While I'm hoping for a healing miracle tomorrow, I am bracing for the possibility of missing more work and my paycheck being short. Days like this, I wish I had someone to take care of me.

I desperately want a fuckton of cookie dough rn. Why am I craving that when I'm sick af? Idk.

The stories we hear in childhood are the ones we remember all our lives.

I'll buy that for a dollar!

what in the fuck is going on

A person’s never too old for stories. Man and boy, girl and woman, we live for them.

Fuck, this makes me want to call my mom all giddy and let her know, but she's been gone for 8 years now. On her way out, I whispered to her, "go then - there are other worlds than these." I hope that the afterlife gets to read new books.

A new book, OTHER WORLDS THAN THESE (T3), is published today. It's the final book of the Talisman trilogy, co-written with my old buddy, Peter Straub. Thank you for your attention in this matter.
