Noticed this comment by @jeetheer.bsky.social at the FB Marvel Method page. Kirby would have been familiar with Doc Savage but the team of mixed personalities goes back much further. Kirby mentioned Dumas in several interviews. I'm sure the team comprised of contrasts is ancient.

Let's be frank. Fans of Stan Lee are just plain stupid. And I mean dumb as fuck.
What was Kirby doing with punctuation? In written music it's called notation. Musical notation indicates how a piece of music is to intended to be performed. The idea that an composer or author should not take advantage of the tools available is absurd.
It's funny to me I know more about Stan Lee than fans of Stan Lee.
There was a time when every comics pro (even Stan (ITEM!) Lee) knew why comics used exclamation marks in lieu of periods. Logically if one exclamation mark is a period then it indicates nothing other than the end of a sentence. Adding two or three was used to indicate an actual exclamation. But ???
My comments on Kirby's dialogue in the image. Saw a remarkably stupid post on a so called "Jack Kirby" group. The usual idiot who thinks Kirby could not write dialogue but at the same time believes Stan Lee could. No point arguing with MMMS types anymore so than with MAGA. Pearls before swine.
I was sent this comment by @tonypuryear.bsky.social. Absolute nails. There are objectives standards in writing as well as music and art. Standards which are as measurable a 40 yard dash time. People who say Kirby could not write dialogue are simply either idiots or have a very small reading list.
I have always utterly despised KISS. Now I have a chance to hate them even more.
