I have nothing but admiration and respect for people who successfully manage extended family sharing a household. I love the idea. In my experience opening my home has repeatedly been an extended exercise in emotional regulation and not resorting to physical violence over who ate all my croissants.
You can cheat the system and eat as many hotdogs as you want by cutting them up and throwing them in Mac n cheese. Want to eat five cheese filled hotdogs? Thow’em in the box of macaroni you made and eat the entire thing guilt free!

Made my first basque cheesecake yesterday. Today I’ll be using some left over plums to make a compote to try with it as well as a salted honey glaze.
