3 & 3.5/4 are probably my favorites of the series. The concept was goofy - my client wanted to make something like an overly sparkly picmix image, and it...aaah...turned out a bit more "Garden of Eden" than corny yaoi romance. So we gave the man a fruit. #commissions #portrait

Ok, catch up time hahah. At the end of last year I took on a commissioned series of portraits of a character, one that I've painted once before a few years ago! This was 1/4 - and was already a huge improvement from the first iteration in 2024. #commissions #portrait

Illustration depicts an embalming performed by Myrna and Vorgoth under the supervision of a spirit wearing a large, jeweled headdress. The body on the embalming table is shrouded in cloth that wraps around its face, across its shoulder, and around its hips (dignity matters). Half of the body is shown as cleaned bones, which Myrna is lovingly adorning with gold jewelry. The other half is shown as musculature. Vorgoth has his left hand resting on the abdomen, and has his ceremonial knife raised in his right. There's a green light that is glowing from within the rib cage of the embalmed, that can also be seen in the eyes, shining through the shroud. The figures are lit by an auditorium of large candles that encircle them. Canopic jars dot the ground beneath the table - which has beetle-like legs and horned appendages.
