A SEPARATION: haven't seen it in at least 5 years but I recognized it as soon as those IDs hit the scanner bed. Masterpiece, really hit me on an emotional level when I realized the title refers to Termeh as well, in a way. (A)
Surprise 35 #11 on a Surprise Day
I've been avoiding anything about the third act surprise in You Can See Everything so of course it was spoiled for me in @vulture.com 's latest Movie Fantasy League email
On an emotional level it nearly gets there at the climax and the end, if not quite making the biggest impact. Wonky action scenes aside it flies by, incredible work from Damon especially (first time I've found him hot). A suitable epic in basically every way (A-)

just in time for COYOTE VS ACME, it's WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT? ! funny movie, first time I saw it in full. Bob Hoskins... Can I say something (B/B+)
Surprise 35 #10 featuring Spritzer
Was wondering where I'd seen a character in TEENAGE SEX AND DEATH AT CAMP MIASMA and realizing from Wikipedia that they were on THE AUDACITY lol
COYOTE VS. ACME: after all this time the very last thing I ever expected to say about this was "weirdly moving". More to come but just know it's exactly what you'd want from this premise, and fairly well directed at that (B+/A-)
Did you guys know this is a masterpiece
The only time I remember Bebe Rexha exists is at the bowling alley
Bleak Week Surprise 35 I'm told is a white whale for the programmer
Rather full house for Surprise 35 #5
Second half of Returnal is actually so crazy
I've liked a lot of metaphorical horror movies released since but none have ever remained so tense and so assured. Helps that it's not *just* a metaphor but something that will literally kill you. (A)

Some Predictions On The 98th Academy Awards
Everyone else is doing it, why not me? Awards season officially comes to a close on Sunday and with the Guilds officially sown up I figured I might as well post some predictions on them. Probably i…
