Just. Words. Inspiring words.
Keeping an eye on the different ways the Grizzlies continue to use Cameron Boozer. Bulls switch this pick and roll, Boozer immediately goes to the post. Draws help on the spin, kicks it out and now it's ball movement for a 3.
Cameron Boozer poster dunk. And there are people who will tell you he's not athletic enough. Going to be the best rookie this league has seen in a long time. Still can't believe he didn't go No. 1 overall.
Buddy Hield just crossed up GG I think we’re done here.
I think this is the first pre-season ever where watching the Grizzlies has solidified my thoughts on how the season will go.
Boozer creates three straight three point possessions with an and-one off an inbounds, a tap pass to Grant for 3, then his own 3.
I am going to enjoy the next 7-10 years of the Cam Boozer Grizzlies.
Zach Edey will play tonight in limited minutes, per Tuomas Iisalo.
This is literally how Mormonism began.
Gabe Poirot says he spent 18 days in Heaven and met a Jesus who was six feet tall, made of fire, and overflowing with testosterone. Fox treated this as news. There's no evidence of this. Just a deeply manipulative story and a book to promote. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/a-christia...
I think my top 10 TV shows would be : Definitely in: Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Wire, LOST, Game of Thrones, Parks and Rec In: Fleabag, Survivor In consideration for last 2 spots: The Challenge, Halt and Catch Fire, The Office, The Sopranos (NR on NYT list?), and Friday Night Lights
Strongly recommend everyone reading this piece through to the end. The tradeoffs for how exactly to start an expansion team (draft, starting salary cap, etc) are more nuanced than I thought.
On Friday, @mikevorkunov.bsky.social reported that the NBA is exploring potentially having its Las Vegas expansion team start in 2029-30 instead of 2028-29. I wrote about two key triggers that would make that start date far more logical: www.forbes.com/sites/bryant...
JESUS CHRIST THIS IS THE GREATEST PASS IVE EVER SEEN AND ITS PRESEASON
5 minutes into the preseason and Nikola Jokic is throwing behind the back cross-court passes... I needed the replays too
I had Hawkins in a group of the rest of the end of the roster guys. Maybe this just means he has a minimum deal somewhere. I suspect this means Taylor Hendricks will make the roster.
The Memphis Grizzlies and guard Jordan Hawkins have mutually agreed to part ways, allowing the 2023 lottery pick to find a new home in free agency once he clears waivers, sources tell ESPN.
Deshaun Watson hasn't been that good this year but I still don't like this thing where he doesn't entirely suck.
This extension bodes well for MEM getting Jaylen Wells under $10mm per year.
Toronto Raptors guard Jamal Shead has agreed to a three-year, $24 million contract extension with the franchise, his agent KJ Smith tells ESPN. The new deal keeps Shead under contract through the 2029-30 season.
Happy Jalen Duren QO Deadline Day to all who celebrate
"How about 5 years, $200mm?" "It's not about the money. I've been disrespected." "What about an extra $2.5mm per year?" /signs contract
I do not want the owner of Bournemouth - a very smart PL team - to own a Western Conference team.
Without saying the company, we handled one of these companies trade show exhibit schedules, and we ended up firing them as a client. Only done that a handful of times in over 15 years. This is unsurprising.
The morning speaker list at MAHA Action Summit is a parade of health grifter corporate CEOs and private equity shitheads.
I think it's notable that, even after saying he isn't involved in lease negotiations day to day, Zach Kleiman said that he hears things are on the right track, and they're where they should be.
Is there a 1% chance that this was what was holding up the Kawhi deal all along?
Trent Redden said that Brandon Ingram had a partially torn Achilles' tendon, along with heel surgery He will not be ready to begin the regular season.

Making sense of this collection of players is easy. And hard. The difficulty is in the details, and the good news is I don't think the detai

I dont know where the Duren thing ends up. I assume he just takes $190mm or whatever. But DET has real leverage against him. They have so many non-guaranteed deals that they can carve out meaningful space if he takes his QO. They've avoided the bird rights trap with him.
Jeselnik shouts out Last Bookstore and Skylight Books. Damn. He’s for real.
Cannot. Stop. Laughing.
