Southern California is known for gorgeous weather year round. This time of year is still usually a bit colder and often cloudier. Enjoying the last few days of very summer like weather before it’s gets cooler again for a while.

My thoughtful partner got me a number of lovely gifts for a certain annual celebration that happens around this time each year, but I can’t think of another gift I’ve gotten that made me feel the joy of being a kid again like this.
