I'm so excited and relieved that our NIH R35 grant has been renewed!! NoA received and grant actually started this July!! We will continue to advance our research on ubiquitin and translation control for the next 5 years!! Hoping to see more posts like this from y'all too🙌🏾🙌🏾

When they came for Black & Brown folks, or #DEI efforts, I heard very little commotion Only now with these new directives has the scientific community become concerned with the future of research & academic institutions It will not stop here. If you are not rich & conservative, you are at risk!

The Trump admin has cancelled the panels that approve NIH grants, & is also banning scientists from communicating with the public, attending conferences, and hiring. NIH is the largest funder of biomedical research in the world. This will severely halt the development of many lifesaving treatments.
