The cicadas are so loud you'd swear I was in an episode of Evangelion, smack in the middle of Summer. Instead Summer has ended for my kids & like every year it saddens me. My time with them will lessen until May rolls around again. We'll have a great year no matter what, but leaving Summer hurts.
Day one of ADHD meds. Let's see how this goes! I have a mild case and was given the option to medicate or not. I know what the not feels like, so I figured I'd give it a month and see.
I'm learning today that not everyone calls it Baskin Robbins. All of my California coworkers called it "31 Flavors" instead. Please respond with what you called it, and if comfortable the state or region you're from.

Finally made it to a P. Terry's Burger Stand. Fresh made cheeseburger is $3.25, good amount of tasty fries for $2.50. Need to hit this place up more often. (I also had a great root beer shake)
I spread some butter and Vegemite on toast today. Never had Vegemite before. I'd do that again. My stomach is definitely talking to me though.

Ok. I drank all three of the bone broth sodas. As far as functional beverages go, not bad (except BlackBerry Lime, that was gross). Overall better than I anticipated. Review tomorrow?

Oh no. I'm stuck in a "Still Fighting It" loop where I listen to Ben Folds song, covered by Lee Chan Sol, until I openly weep. I'm not sure what makes this song my personal bug light, but I keep flying to it to be zapped.

I’m far from a soda reviewer, that fizzy distinction goes to @thesodajerk.net but I finally found some Slice soda! Not sure how I feel about them, (so far Pacific Pop is my fave) but I love their cans. I want a t-shirt in every flavor.

McDonald's Sprite Berry Blast exceeded all of my expectations. That's a great Summer soda!
So, my surprise soda of the year so far has been Mr. Pibb Zero Sugar. I bought a 12 pack & I've almost finished it, but I haven't reviewed it yet It might be THE most accurate Zero Sugar version of a soda to date & it has a bit more caffeine than a regular soda at 54 mg. I did not see this coming
The amount of marketing behind Masters of the Universe is staggering. They keep popping up in places I'd never expect. Most recently was a reel with a weight lifter that goes undercover as a mild mannered janitor that moves MASSIVE amounts of weight to clean under them to the surprise of the lifter
