Happily sewing up a shirt this afternoon. Current thought of the moment is completely unrelated to my crafting. And is something I’m sure others have thought. All this push for AI in everything, and the way everyday people who are using it act seems very cult like. And entirely disturbing.

“Could you live without any AI?” Short answer YES, long answer yes, please get rid of the planet draining art stealing garbage! Don’t use the stuff, intentionally. And would love to see the back of it.

Oh look it’s Wednesday!! Woohoo, we’re halfway through the week. Peanut is enjoying the bit of grass that bundad has taken the watering can to, now it’s pretty much the only green part of the garden except for the bamboo. I think Peanut might have many a snooze planned for today.

Monday morning thoughts.. we’re avoiding work because *yawn* that’s tedious and boring. Instead brain be telling me about wanting more tattoos. Great idea brain, only that involves money, and also would mean finding a tattoo artist. Wouldn’t get far without either of those 😅😅.

“Could falter” oh no… how would we cope 🙄🙄 Honestly I hope it fails entirely, and that the AI bubble pops costing all these companies a whole load of money. Imagine if they cared about the earth, the climate, other people as much as they do about money and pushing their god awful AI.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

Wip Wednesday! Here is my current progress on the Wingle Hoodie that I’m knitting. That’s the back knitted to the under arms, and the fronts started. Once I’ve joined the front and back I’ll make a start on the hoodie. It’ll make it easier to keep track on how much yarn I have left.

Ahhh love it when the weather goes from normal summer temps to baking hot to cooler summer temps in the space of a week /s My body is of course complaining loudly. Oh the joys of being disabled and chronically ill 😩😩.

Perks to wavy/curly hair: the volume!! Also fluffy bouncy hair. Good for hobbit styling 😁 Downsides: shrinkage, I have zero gauge for how long my hair actually is until I wash it or pull a section of it down. Does it need a trim, or can it wait a little longer.. no idea 🤷🏻‍♀️

Knitting thoughts, if I need to change needle size when moving on to a different section on the pattern, maybe add a reminder in before the next section starts? Rather than me remembering part way through that section after knitting multiple short rows that there should have been a needle change 😐.
