It's the two week mark of AI coding to refactor my dingus. I've been humbled, grateful, frustrated and trying to make sense of it all. It's a pattern matching machine. The more I remember that, the better I use the tool. When I forget that, it goes sideways. Don't confuse the model with reality.

AI can make better code faster than me. But, at least I've never brought the dromedary to it's knees by treating ENUM('0','1') as an integer. It's my fault, ENUM('0','1') isn't clear. Forcing me to be clearer has been the best part of my AI coding so far. #VibeLinting #BabyProofing #WriteClear

I have a modern Rip Van Wrinkle tale. Two years ago I took a break from pushing pixels and just returned to a strange new world of AI coding. I did what anyone would do and started refactoring my project. It's been a week. It's a dream tool. Dunno about letting it in the cake.

I thought "vibe coding" just meant that you felt good about it and that I had been "vibe coding" for decades.
