Caved and ordered a set of professional grade paints for myself (they were on sale £30 below rrp). I’ve never used the brand before but I’ve seen good things about it. Very excited to have professional grade paints— opens the door to maybe selling my paintings one day.
I need to get/make physical merch of my ocs (Avoids looking at the sewing wip on my desk) A deck of cards would be fun if I had enough ocs for it

Suddenly thinking about ocs I haven’t touched since 2024 (Feverfew duo for those who know). Very tempted to put Act 2 work aside and focus on finishing up the plot re-work and doodling their tweaked designs... As soon as I’m out of academic hell 💪
I tried some basic embroidery tonight and it wasn’t as hard as I was expecting! (Aside from the hand pain). I want to try and make a doll of Idriet this summer so this has given me a bit of a confidence boost haha.
I haven’t really has much time or energy, but here’s my favourite piece from February :) (a banner/title for one of my world building projects, “Act 2”). Tentatively trying to get back into posting art, so preferably no reposts please 😅.
I’d love to be more active on social media but I’m going through a hellish period of my masters right now. May is looking so beautiful, I can’t wait to throw art at all my friends and go on holiday (I’m thinking a road trip to do some plein air painting at some rspb reserves)

Recently finished a piece I started in February. I thought it’d be fun to make it look like a book cover. I like the look but never again will I draw this many gold finches haha.
