I often boot up the blu-ray just to watch the intro because it is very powerful, and I always end up getting grabbed by the pace of the movie and before I can blink the credits roll. The pacing and cut are really good, and it's the kind of monolithic concepts I dig.

Our little Playdate 🟨 game is ~almost 3 years old. 🍞 ~2000 sales ~$2900 net revenue All of which has been donated to charities (because it was a game jam game from which we didn't mean to make money from). The game will be on sale from tomorrow to next week.

Getting into synthesizers update: I remade my home desktop into an home studio with display and keyboard on mounts so that I can move them away and put synths. Also got myself a pair of reference speakers. They are entry-level yet pack so much I don't need my old sub. 🤣

One of the mysteries of this industry, is how dating sims are regarded as unsellable by publishers and higher ups, while I don't know a single studio that at one point didn't think about making a dating sim because their team and community gets mental whenever the idea is mentioned.

Those are the games we've been maniacally referring to these past 5 years. I booted up Bayo no later than this morning to capture some hit/recovery timing to get the design logic of Platinum. Couldn't help myself and also launched Metal Gear Rising. Still the best action game intro around.
