On Jan. 11, Gregory Bovino watched as his Border Patrol agents dragged a man out of his car at a St. Paul Speedway, knelt on his back until he lost consciousness, and dragged his limp body into the back of a van. The man's name is Orbin Mauricio Henriquez Serrano and this is his story.

I'm really intrigued by the seemingly permanent gauntlet of lane marking flexposts on Diamond Lake Rd in Minneapolis. There's no signage indicating why they are there but I'm assuming it's a traffic calming experiment because no one otherwise respects the 25mph speed limit. Kind of love it.

Worth viewing this knowing that Grand Central Station was built before cars. These streets were always for people, but we let car owners and the automotive industry take away public land - most urban land - for their private, exclusive use. Even as a car owner, I think that's really unfortunate.

whatever magic Trump once had as a public speaker to non-cult audiences is long gone

My bike has a speedometer. I regularly hit the citywide speed limit (20mph). The number of motorists who overtake in those scenarios is astounding. They wouldn't drive 30 to pass a *car* on a residential street where every other intersection is a stop sign, right? This behavior baffles me.

The Lake Harriet Parkway and trail closure is unpleasant. There's already a cycling pinch point in Lynnhurst. The safe crossing of the creek, if biking with kids, is at Lake Harriet. The current detour pushes a bunch of car traffic and bike traffic onto 49th, which is hilly and full of parked cars.

Minneapolis rightfully has a reputation for good biking infrastructure, but it also has weird holes in the network. The fact that you can't really cross Minnehaha Creek NE to SW in Lynnhurst except at 50th or by the lake is one example. There are pedestrian bridges, but not really bike crossings.

Who killed Joan Sebastian Guerrero? Who killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo? Who killed Ruben Ray Martinez? Who killed Silverio Villegas González? When will Renee Good's killer, Jonathan Ross, be charged with her murder? Where are Alex Pretti's killers, Jesus Ochoa and Raymundo Gutierrez?

"Road rage" is what they call murder when a car is involved. It waters down the reality of the violence and the crime. When someone murders a fellow human with a gun, it's rarely called anything other than what it is: murder.
