Don’t say “technology” when you mean “computer equipment” as in CBRE: “I need verification that each office has technology in it.” CBRE hours later: “No, I meant a specific set of computer equipment. Oh, and that it also has a chair.” Meanwhile, site is stripped and in the middle of remodeling.
I feel like the sale of indulgences killed the concept of patronage. “Why give my money to someone who’ll create things when my mortal soul is in peril and I can act out my basest desires freely as long as I give to the church?”
Had an idea for a 1-page micro-RPG inspired by a couple of people I follow. Take a handful of quarters ($2-4 worth) to a grocery store and buy toys/items from the capsule machines. Write up a short adventure (1-3 pages) involving how those characters/things would interact in the real world. 1/x
Wife insisted we go eat conveyor belt sushi with the 9-year-old and her parents. Said 9-year-old wanted to sit next to the ordering station and proceeded to order a $9 plate of tempura vegetables and a $12 bowl of ramen that we had to cancel.
Went looking for a copycat recipe (Tastybite Madras Lentils) and it's amazing how the same recipe got copied to so many different websites -including the same picture(s).
Mom lamenting how “libruls” in our family keep sending her hate-filled messages and how Muslims are following the “four steps” to taking over countries. All while complaining how divisive things have become.

This may be apocryphal, but my mother tells a story that when we were quite young, my father punched a hole in the drywall (they were divorced soon after). She hung a picture frame around it that said "God Bless Our Happy Home."

BIL and SIL want to see Spider-Man:Brand New Day tomorrow and asked if we wanted to go. The catch is that BIL wants to see it in the theater that's charging $20 a seat just for the matinee *and* they're taking the 9-year-old with the short attention span and bad attitude. Hard pass.
Had a great second game. Put out 4 expansions and was able to fill them with all four animal types so I didn’t lose any points. J had 36, I had 52.

Third week in a row that the IT liaison for the new company has noticed that none of us has applied for a position with the company they outsource their work to and has asked our boss why. Maybe because we’ve seen how you operate and want no part of it?
Saw the phrase “viciously booed” and wondered if there’s any other kind. Politely booed? Indifferently booed?
Decided I need to actually make a list of what I plan to accomplish when I retire, ie “what do I want to do with my free time?”.
Are these as big of a red flag as I think they are? This is a weird follow. tl;dr - feeling blocky, might block later
