we are working creatively with local fisher Jason Ingham to learn about innovations and adaptions in shellfishing in the Exe - how might we work with and alongside local species to support our river to thrive. I've been getting to know oysters and blue mussels...

The Finch ruling - which came about through Sarah's tireless campaigning - means that the environmental impact assessment of a fossil fuel project must include the emissions from all the fuel it produces, and not just the impact of the infrastructure itself It's hugely important

Nooooo! Don't scrap the Finch ruling! Keir Starmer may see them as part of “unnecessary red-tape, well-intentioned, but fundamentally misguided, environmental regulations” but the Finch ruling, Habitats Regulations, biodiversity net gain, etc, are vital protections for our planet and for nature.

It's tomorrow! The Salmon are running and so are we. It’s looking wet, but not windy. There may be some additional Health and Safety notices– please make sure your trainers have decent tread. Due to 🌧️ Salmon Run: The Gathering will now be indoors at Heydays glass box & Sideshore community hub.

We all love a bit of positive news. And we love this article about us (well we would wouldn’t we 😉) As @ultradamo.bsky.social says, to be a Green Runner “You don’t have to be vegan, you don’t have to give up flying altogether or have a stupid haircut like me.” Have a read, get inspired 📖
