Hello everyone! As you may know, this weekend on Sunday, July 19th, we planned to have our next Mondo Queer Beach Party. Due to multiple factors (AQI, smoke, intense heat) aligning this weekend, after much consideration we decided to cancel the event.
July 14th is Disability Awareness Day. Today is a day to recognize and learn from experiences of disabled individuals. Remember that not all disabilities are visible, and they are all valid. Make space for disabled individuals and listen to their experiences. #disabilityawarenessday #tigerrs

As the Trump administration tries to twist Title IX against LGBTQI+ youth in schools, civil rights protections are critical. Congressmembers introduced a resolution to mark the anniversary of Title IX, calling for its protections to be honored, especially for trans, intersex & nonbinary students.
The Minneapolis Pride in Policy package led by @jchavezmpls.bsky.social passed *unanimously* strengthening protections and support for 2SLGBTQIA+ residents and making the city one of only a handful of places to explicitly protect & support intersex folks! Big shoutout to @tigerrsmm.bsky.social!
Last Wednesday the Minneapolis Health Safety & Equity committee voted to advance several items that affect local 2SLGBTQIA+ rights out of committee. TIGERRS Core Crew Members Chris Wichert and Ben Powers testified in favor of the Welcoming City and Rules of Construction Ordinances.
