My modest #TFN2026 haul, TFN pins, GT Scorcher, One Step OP, Gobot Good Knight, Toy Fu & Legends zines, X-Men'97 figures from Daves Chicken. Highlight is the BT Overdrive I've wanted for ages. Also waiting at home was the last Cybertron Legends I was missing, & 12 Carbon (Field) arrows from Amazon!
And just like that (for me) #TFN2026 is over. Once again it's been an amazing weekend. Never enough time to see & talk to everyone. Once I'm packed, I'm back off to that there London for my cousins wedding!

County Short Metric today. 50m distance was 'eh' (209/360) but 30m was spectacular. Score dropped in End 10, turns out I shot out a nock in End 9 & couldn't get my head back in gear after grabbing a spare arrow. Total score is 30 points over last Short Metric so it's going in the right direction.
Cleared the floor to play Botshots (remember them?) with my daughter. They're in the same box as all my One Steps... so I decided to put them all out! 65 of them from AoE, TLK, RID 2015, Cyberverse, Earthspark to TF ONE! Whirl is still the best, legit one of the best TF's ever. Seriously.
Transformers Icons Optimus Prime. Not cheap (£54 shipped from Amazon) but I love this sort of gimmicky crap. Sort of has a bio, totally should have been The Last Autobot. As it is his Mr Potatohead robot mode is still pretty cool.

'Interesting' thing I've observed. Spurred on by Sony, when I am ripping CD's to MP3 via Windows Media player (I know I know, what decade am I living in?) album data is no longer being downloaded. Is the database no longer up? This the same for everyone?
I am being bombarded with ads for miracle air conditioners (designed by NASA scientists!) It took me 5 minutes of checking the claims to realise it is all B.S. And you can buy equivalent versions for £20 or so elsewhere (if you want). The power of critical thinking! www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Cheeky Field #Archery session between kids Sports days on Fri. Field is still a big novelty because I shoot Barebow, Instinctively, with a glove, & at a new club (alongside my normal Target archery club). Very satisfying to just look at what you want to hit, & then hit it with no conscious aiming.

Picked up a Cyberworld Scourge from The Entertainer (open on a Sunday?!) £20. Very much a gimmicky kids toy. Virtually a 1 Step, 6 POA, spring loaded chest, GITD paint on the sword. But he's a pirate galleon! Scourge of the 7 seas! Avast me hearties! There's plunder/Energon over the horizon! ARRR!
