I hate to keep talking about TikTok but I feel the need to share something I noticed today. When I search “Donald Trump”, or the inauguration specifically, the only videos that pop up are from traditional news outlets - or his fans. This is a significant change from what I found before the “ban”.
It should have been like survivor. We should have been able to vote an app off the island instead of it just being TikTok.
I'm spending the rest of the day writing a fanfic about Vine and TikTok boinking each other in every single way.

Unsolicited writing advice, #17171617: Don't just write. Read books. Watch films. Look at paintings and sculpture. Play games. Go to plays. Listen to music. Think about how these things make you feel. Making art is a two-way stream. To make art, you have to consume art.

Not setting a #readinggoal this year. I ended up being disappointed in the 78 (!!!) #books I read in 2024 - all because I didn’t hit my goal of 100. None of that silliness in 2025 🙅🏼♀️
