In Paper Mario, Parakarry is a clumsy postman who joins Mario to find letters he lost. However, at the end of the game, Parakarry leaves, while the letters never actually get removed from Mario's inventory. This creates the humorous effect of Parakarry forgetting them once again.

In Paper Mario, Parakarry is a clumsy postman who joins Mario's party to find letters he lost. After defeating Bowser, the partners leave and Parakarry resumes delivering letters. However, his found letters do not get removed from Mario's inventory, as though he forgot them again! Dramatization Parakarry: What an adventure, Mario! Thanks for helping me find all those missing letters! Until we meet again! Parakarry leaves, leaving Mario annoyed, holding the letters.
