I like capitalism. It’s helped me a lot over the years. But it’s interesting that the course description mentions how capitalism helps millions of people every year, on a planet with over 8 billion people.

Trump is more focused on botching the Reflecting Pool and building his big, ugly ballroom than he is on lowering costs for the American people.
Honest question- can anyone remember the last claim for which the President provided evidence?
NPR@npr.org · 2mo agoThe president posted on Truth Social claiming vandals slashed the pool's lining and poured chemicals into the water, saying arrests have been made. He provided no evidence for his claims.

Hard to square the idea of a unitary executive controlling everything with the idea that some underlings are making decisions for him.

The New York Times@nytimes.com · 2mo agoFighters, promoters and television streamers all stand to gain from the UFC bout that President Trump is hosting on the South Lawn of the White House on Sunday. As a small investor in TKO Group Holdings, UFC’s parent company, the president could benefit as well.
I’m useless here, since both of Virginia’s senators are Democrats. (And smart.). Do what you can if you have a Republican senator or two.

It’s ok there are ways to earn money I can’t take advantage of, because of my knowledge or skills. But I don’t get why it’s unfair to keep just 1% of my money, after giving the rest to my country in taxes, while I stay financially secure. (1% of a billion is 10,000,000). I could live on that
