Reading about dyslexia in tech reminded me: we optimize for reading speed but never reading comfort. Variable fonts, better contrast, proper spacing—small changes that help everyone but are crucial for some. Inclusive design isn't charity, it's good design.
Just found out I'm in the top 3% most active speakers on @sessionize.com for 2025! Spoke at 12 events this year about digital a11y and frontend development. Taking a step back in 2026 to focus on family (baby #2), but might pick things back up later in the year. All my talks: talks.timdamen.io
