What is with this weird obsession of having to be nice about people just because they are dead? It is like doing an eventual obituary of Trump calling him a New York philanthropist and misunderstood head of state who cared especially about the wellbeing of teenage girls.

The referendum was 2016. It was clear that NHS staffing from Europe would suffer. Instead of increasing training opportunities for British residents the conservatives started recruiting around the world to make up for Brexit, and now the same people agitate against the NHS being highly international

I don’t like a most of Diane Abbott positions. But suspending the first female black MP who had to live through more discrimination than anyone else in parliament, for an article on racism, even when the content was debatable, always felt like a terrible decision by Starmer.

I never understood why we are supposed to despise one fundamentalist regime that commits human rights crimes and treats women as second-class citizens (Iran) while we are supposed to be natural allies with another one that does exactly the same (Saudi Arabia). I would not travel to either of them.

Even as the skies blacken with climate change-induced wildfires, right wing media continue their relentless crusade against measures to tackle it.

I think the fate of the United States will be decided this year. If Democrats can win one or both houses of Congress, we have a chance. If not, we don’t. The idea that we can ride this out until the 2028 election is a foolish notion. By that time, the U.S. would strongly resemble Putin’s Russia.
I am still not sure what Jeff Bezos biggest crime ever was. I am oscillating between supporting a Nazi in the White House and the making of Rings of Power.

The claim “RFK Jr. does not fuck chickens” is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that RFK Jr. fucks chickens.
I can't believe that the journalist is calling Alice Weidel from the AFD thoughtful. She may not run around in jackboots and Nazi tattoos. But that doesn't mean she is not a despicable Nazi herself.
