Large directors/creatives who adopt A.I. and start to shill for tech built off the stolen work of their peers are class traitors and should be completely ostracized from the arts.

Can’t show much of what I’ve been doing lately but if ya’ll promise not to narc, I can share a sneaky little tease of one thing! Working with Casey Van Heel and Halil Mete to make something I think is well and truly special. I will admit, I think all my projects are special. Buy everything I make!

I haven’t posted much lately so here’s a quick recap of my year. Got sick, short vacation in Chateau de Hospital. They took an organ as payment. Literally everything else’s been working with amazing people on a bunch of great projects. Easily the most work I’ve had since becoming a comic colorist.

Replaying DMC: Devil May Cry. Working my way through a corporate building full of demons, hunting down the CEO (also a demon) and seeing propaganda like “Punish Poverty” and “Greed Is Good” appearing on the walls while sick music plays in every fight. This will forever be one of my favourite games.

Hey, just an update for y’all. I spent the last while in the hospital, surgery was a success and I have most of my internal organs still. Recovery is going to suck, but it’s all going to get better from here. Excited to start doing art again.

I don’t believe in curses or luck until I play DnD with my boy Sam. In one campaign, I rolled 4 Nat 20’s against him. As a joke I rolled again, a fifth Nat 20. In my current campaign, 5 sessions in, multiple Nat 20s against Sam. Nobody else. Last night I sent a video rolling about a joke. Nat 20.

This is very true. Create your art. One of the greatest joys in my life is that I can create something and it can touch the lives of more people than I will ever know. And if doing something I love can bring other people happiness, then that is enough. Don’t need a list, I need people to be happy.

I've literally never written anything that has wound up on a BEST OF list, it's fine! You wrote something and made art that at least some folks resonated with. THAT'S ENOUGH

Awesome stuff. Thanks to all the folks behind Lifeline Comics! Congrats all. And I can't wait for you to check out "Lucia" w/ @timothycbrown.bsky.social, and for me to get to check out everyone else's stories!

There’s a lot of great stories in this anthology, by a bunch of great teams. Obviously our story is the favourite, but this is a Kickstarter worth your time. I’d love to see the big push to get it done!

Somewhere in Texas, Immigration Relocation Enforcement strikes... the wrong house.

Forgive me for getting personal here, but depression has always played a large role in my life. This morning I got up, played with my dogs, and now I’m in the kitchen singing along with my music making lunch and coffee, before I sit down to make comics. The good days will come. Life is good.

So within a week the dryer blew out and the sewer line backed up bad enough to blow out the compression cap to the cleanout. All things are taken care of now. But not for nothing. So maybe consider me for any upcoming projects. 😁

I’ve known Matt for over a decade now, and his diverse skillset gives him the flexibility to handle any page he comes across like an absolute champion. The fact that people aren’t lining up to hire him is insane, but is a perfect opportunity for you to bring him on to your team now.
