This goes for all art. All mediums. As others have said: it’s not enough to be anti AI art. You also have to be PRO the art you like if you want it to continue to exist. Like indie comics? Buy them. Support the artists. Attend local fairs/cons. Share. Tell others. Leave reviews.

"Indies will save us" No! YOU WILL SAVE INDIES! Go leave a review for that neat indie game you like, share the trailer for an upcoming game you're anticipating, tell your fave developer they did a good job, go tell people about such and such game that's just come out, you can make a difference!

Wonderful visit to the Hayward Gallery to see Anish Kapoor's exhibition. I cannot adequately explain the unsettling vertigo of staring into the seemingly endless depths of his void-like shapes. Or the strangeness of a flat-looking plane suddenly producing contours when moving a fraction to the side.

A seemingly flat, black oval on a white wall.Another black oval, a horizontal hole in a protruding white shape, attached to a wall.

I kinda have to seriously question anyone who still have a significant presence on twitter. Every kind thought, every nice comment by anyone is inevitably met with hate, and racism, homophobia, and more are just around the corner. Other platforms ad dicey, Twitter is just grotesque. 1/

I loved doing this logo for Chris, Sami and the lovely team at Oni. It's such a good-looking book and the concept is ridiculously exciting!

I'm glad that the UK is at least acknowledging, on one level at least, the harms that social media has had on people. Even if the restrictions aren't exactly practical, validating our concerns when we say to our kids, "this platform has dangerous elements we need to be cautious of," is helpful.

UK folks, let's jump on this AI regulation petition the Society of Authors emailed out! It's an actual parliament one so the government HAS to respond if it reaches the signature threshold. It calls for regulations to make AI developers disclose copyrighted works trained on. Sign & repost!! ❤️

Petition: Protect creators' rights: require AI firms to disclose training data

We ask the Government to introduce a statutory duty requiring AI developers to disclose the copyrighted works used to train generative AI in enough detail for creators to identify use of their work, e...

"...imaginative, heartfelt, oddball, emotionally sharp. A beautiful reminder that sometimes the wildest worlds are not built to help us run away. Sometimes they exist to show us what we are really running from." Another panegyric of A MISCHIEF OF MAGPIES #1. comiccrusaders.com/comic-books/...
