I had thought about going to the surprise movie last night and I'm glad I didn't because it was Tony. It's a good movie, but I have already seen it. One of the reasons I like going to the surprise movies is being pretentious about seeing a movie *slightly* earlier than everyone else. 😂

I don't want to go see One Night Only, but I do want to get out of the house, and this doesn't cost me any extra dollars. 🤔

I don't mean this in a creepy way, but there's something under my shelf in the corner. Eisley will just sit and stare under there.

One thing I love about living where I do now and not a mile and a half away from Walter Reed is that there are 99% less helicopters flying directly overhead on any given day, and instead there's nearby train tracks and I can hear the trains at night. :)

I watched 14 movies last week. You know what else I did? NOTHING. I didn't even see any of those movies in a theater. I went nowhere and viewed 14 movies. I would like to continue watching movies, but perhaps also other things? Or leave the house to watch a movie? 😂

I think I'm going to check some 90s movies off the poster this evening. Perhaps Silence of the Lambs, Shawshank Redemption, or Forrest Gump? Possibly Fargo? I've seen Silence of the Lambs and Fargo, but it's been 15+ years for both. I haven't seen the other two. Any suggestions on where to start?

I haven't started the new season of Strange New Worlds, but I imagine it's a lot of queerbaiting? Like, they're not going to let Spock and Kirk kiss or get together. That's fine. That's not the issue.

The thing about watching movies off of the 100 Essential Movies poster is that you kind of can't go wrong? These are all 4+ star movies. I have a couple I've rated lower, and that is all on personal taste as opposed to something being "wrong" with the movie.

I'm watching A Streetcar Named Desire, which I haven't seen and don't actually know that much about, but DAMN, the first 5 minutes is this woman telling her sister how great she looks now that she's put on a little weight (but watch around the hips!) and how SHE hasn't put on an ounce in 10 years.

I'm really slamming the 100 Essentials Movies Poster. This is only the #lastfourwatched, but I've three more off the poster since last #letterboxdfriday. I'm having a great time (I also enjoyed new Spider-Man and I Want Your Sex in the theater last weekend.)

Nothing like doing some casual shopping for some upcoming g birthdays, and the cart is full of stuff for....me. hmm... I'm bad at this.

The problem with going to the movies to see all the movies is that I see all the movies I want to see. There's nothing new this week (that's releasing where I live) that I want to go the movies and see. Next weekend is stupid with things I want to see.

I don't have opinions on the Star Trek MtG cards from a MtG standpoint, but I LOVE how varied they are. So much Trek merch-related stuff is TOS and TNG and very little else, but this is pulling from every corner of the franchise. And the details are really good. For nerds, by nerds, lol.

Watching Discovery also makes me think: we're bringing Oded Fehr back for the new Fraser Mummy movie, right?????? He is so fucking hot. And great in those movies and also Star Trek.

I'm watching Dr. Strangelove for the first time and it's WILD to watch in 2026. Someone calls for a unauthorized nuke strike and now everyone is scrambling to fix it?? Yeah, I believe it. The only part I find difficult is that it was a rogue General and the politicians are the ones trying to fix it.

The thing with taking Monday and Tuesday off work is that I spent all day today reminding myself that it is indeed Wednesday and not Monday again.
