Enjoying a chilly rainy day, I lit a bunch of candles all over the house and I’m stomping around in a hoodie that’s about two sizes too big and feeling cozy (while still having windows open a bit to hear rain/wet street)
I walked a little under 8 miles yesterday and am close to 5 already today. I would do this every day if I didn’t work in an office (tbh I do usually hit 4-4.5 miles on office days but that’s more because I don’t drive)
If your menu makes me wonder if I’m inhaling a lot of CO, I’m going elsewhere

Somehow the thrift store did not have what I’d thought would be the easy parts of my costume but had the harder one that will need some work to get it right so that’s good
Perfect Spirit Halloween experience (talked with a manager for 20 minutes about a Ghost show we were both at 3 years ago while the trainee cashier had to reset my single-purchase transaction four times, absolutely nobody involved in this was straight) five stars will shop again
Still reposting this until everyone sees it btw. The sound guy didn’t really know what to do with us (especially the vocals on the second song) and they didn’t have a real bass amp but you can still catch the rock. Bex especially stands out here I think on drums

I’m really excited for the show tomorrow. I like Castle Rat especially their live show, but I have been trying to see Unto Others for YEARS and it’s always been tour cancellations, venue changes, last-minute MDF schedule updates
Anyway did you know that it’s September and Spirit Halloween opens at 10 on weekdays? Wild right? Anyway I’m going out
This place ruled I highly recommend for a special dinner, the decor is eclectic in a “yeah we’ve been open for 100 years and never stopped buying art” kind of way, the food and drinks were excellent, service was impeccable

My music school is above a restaurant and apparently the restaurant flooded from the rain and it screwed up the plumbing for the whole building
Have had a lovely day walking around in the rain, the one downside is that my boots I got for our wedding 3 years ago and have worn a LOT since then picked today to get a hole in the sole 🙃 I knew it was coming tbh
I was gonna go to the gym today but I think I’m actually going to just leave for class earlier and do some wanderings
