Is everyone aware of the General Motors streetcar conspiracy? In the mid-20th century, auto and oil interests bought up electric streetcar systems across the US and systematically replaced them with bus routes and paved roads, funneling commuters toward private cars.

She’s a rotational player approaching the end of her playing career, which means most of the money is gonna stop. That’s why she’s doing this, so she can parlay this into a boring, malignant cash grab and she can count on the dolts in our media landscape to not push back even slightly. Embarrassing.

Jess Fishlock needs a proper biopic at some point. Maybe because she didn’t have a world cup run, but her career feels underrated somehow. Championship-winning player-manager just one of her many accomplishments!!

I'm still so bummed she couldn't play when they came Boston. Such a legend.

Based on everything I've heard about the WPBL leadership, this is exactly the kind of first-game they (not the fans or the player) deserve.

The way ESPN is dropping the ball here is astonishing. I’m watching the broadcast and all we have is effectively a security camera showing the field being prepped. How do you not prep a rain delay package?!
