How many times do we have to do this? LA, he/him

Went to protest at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Downtown LA and could not for the life of me find parking. When I drove by, there was no one protesting. First time I've seen no one there, although I think there some people on the corner of Alameda and Aliso Streets. I hope everyone is OK.

Colbert isn’t going quietly after news of his show’s cancellation. South Park’s roasting CBS and Trump. House Democrats are forcing votes on Epstein files. And Trump’s approval ratings? Not looking too hot. Let’s count this week’s wins. 👏

Our Wins Of The Week

As you know, last week it was reported that CBS would be ending The Late Show with Stephen Colbert next May, the timing of which seemed…suspicious.

Trump & Republicans snuck a backdoor abortion ban into their Big Ugly Bill. But defunding Planned Parenthood won't just restrict abortion access—it will also strip women of compassionate, affordable health care. I'm proud to stand with Planned Parenthood LA to protect our care.

In 1977, disability rights activists staged a 25-day sit-in at the San Francisco Federal Building, paving the way for the Americans with Disabilities Act. On the ADA's 35th anniversary, we honor their heroism and reaffirm our commitment to empowering all. 📸: @dredf.bsky.social, ‪@sfdcc.bsky.social

Fox News took Jeanine Pirro off air because "she's crazy" and "nuts." Their words, not mine.   Now we're going to trust her with the lives and liberty of the people of DC?   This is just absurd.

Day 1 of CFEE CA Garbage & Recycling Tour in Vancouver! We kicked things off at a “Return-It” Express bottle depot—a program that’s been producer-run for over 30 years. Unlike California’s CRV program, this system is funded/ operated by beverage producers ensuring accountability from the start. ♻️
