When a company synonymous with childhood feels emboldened and insulated by a culture that treats children’s data as corporate assets. I will continue advocating with the relevant powers for justice for Renee Good and Alex Pretti, as well as, doing what I am able to see charges brought for less publicized events of criminal activity by ICE.
We owe a debt of gratitude to the residents who put their bodies on the line to protect each other, while only armed with whistles. We know that Federal agents repeatedly broke the law in our city and many of us hoped that MPD was attempting to address this.
ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. She’s married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there. They’ve already sent her to Louisiana.

The open letter wouldn't be necessary if the leaders of Google and OpenAI committed to the ethical use of their tech.
